While responding to a fire in Creswell on August 12, 2014 around 5:10 pm a section of brand new 5 inch yellow fire hose became dislodged. Our fire engine had to stop along the freeway and remove the section so it did not fly off the truck and create a hazard while on the freeway. The 100' section of hose was left along the side of I-5 Northbound just before exit 176 to Saginaw.

We sent a crew to retrieve the section of hose 15-20 minutes later and somebody had already stopped and picked it up. Each section of hose is a considerable expense. We would appreciate any information regarding the location of the hose. If you have any information please call our office at 541-942-4493.
