Public Service Announcement
For Immediate Release September 9, 2020
The District has been receiving phone calls regarding a fire threatening the Cottage Grove Lake area due to social media posts. At this time we are unable to confirm any fire activity currently approaching or threatening the Cottage Grove Lake area. The fire activity in North Douglas County around the Steamboat area is pushing smoke into our area. At this time the District does not have any wildfires burning. Those with known respiratory issues are advised to stay indoors as much as possible. We will update this notice as new information becomes available.
