Welcome to South Lane County Fire & Rescue
South Lane County Fire & Rescue (SLCF&R) proudly serves both residents and visitors in Creswell, Cottage Grove and rural South Lane County. SLCF&R provides fire protection, rescue, emergency medical services, fire prevention and code enforcement services, per ORS Chapter 478. SLCF&R is located just south of the Eugene / Springfield area of western Oregon, along the I-5 corridor. The areas previously served by the Cottage Grove Fire Department, the Creswell Rural Fire Department, and the South Lane Rural Fire Department, were merged into the South Lane County Fire and Rescue district in 2003.

On behalf of South Lane County Fire and Rescue I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the support of our Local Option Levy 20-205. Employees, volunteers, and citizens have collaborated to get the information to the voters and make this campaign successful. I cannot thank them enough.
To the supporters of the measure; “Thank you” we will continue to provide fire and ems in a safe, effective and efficient manner. We do not take your support for granted.
To the voters not supporting the measure; we are committed to providing the highest level of service and we will work hard at earning your support and bringing value to your tax dollars.
In closing, it was a wonderful experience to be involved in passage of a ballot measure where the debate and discussion was open, fair and honest. We look forward to providing quality and professional service to all of our taxpayers.
