Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office donates $250 towards SLCFR smoke alarm campaign
We would like to thank The Oregon State Fire Marshal’s office for their recent donation. We applied for the funds last month and are happy to announce we were awarded $250 for assistance with our local smoke alarm campaign. With this money your SLCFR Fire Prevention Team was able to purchase two ladders, two drills and a tool bag to assist with the district's smoke alarm campaign.
With the help of the State Fire Marshal’s office we will continue our efforts to prevent fire related deaths and injuries by installing smoke alarms in all residents in the Fire District. As of today SLCFR has installed over 156 smoke alarms.
If you are curious how SLCFR’s smoke alarm campaign works please call our headquarters at (541) 942-4493. We would be more than happy to install your FREE smoke alarms today!
